I started a milonga 8 years and a half and that's how I began to DJ. Discovering this music is like discovering a new world: rich, subtle, complex. As a DJ, I try to find the balance between what the energy that the audience gives me and the atmosphere I want to put on. It's a difficult alchemy but this is why I find it so exciting.
THIS SOLIDARITY AID IS TO BE ABLE TO CARRY OUT THE 2021 EDITION.
In a world like the one we had until a few months ago, this weekend the city of Antwerp would be DANCING TANGO WITHOUT STOPPING !!! With 3 Argentine orchestras, 5 top couples of teachers and dancers !! and also classes, barbecue, Official Championship, 10 Djs, Live Shows.
But no, the COVID-19 did not allow it. However, the organization invested € 6,000 in web and flyer design, flyer printing, secretary hours, magazine advertising, and all this without counting our invested working hours. The festival does not have financial support from No one, and because of the quality of the Festival we do, never gave a profit, always a loss. This was not a big problem until today because we, Anibal and Valeria, were the only sponsors and covered the losses, but this year it was a more serious problem since we could not do the 2020 edition. We cannot give our classes either on a regular basis and we have the expenses that we made until today.
That’s why we carried out this aid campaign to raise this money and continue with the 2021 edition.
Collaboration is at will. You can help us with 10, 20, 50 or 100€ or whatever you want. Every euro is helpful to be able to do this magnificent Festival again. En un mundo como el que teníamos hasta hace unos meses, este fin de semana la ciudad de Amberes estaría BAILANDO TANGO SIN PARAR!!! Con 3 orquestas Argentinas, 5 parejas top de maestros y bailarines !! y además clases, asado, Campeonato Oficial, 10 Djs, Shows en vivo.
Pero no, el COVID-19 no lo permitió. Sin embargo, la organización, invirtió €5.000 en diseño de web y flyers, impresión de flyers, horas de una secretaria, publicidad en revista, y todo esto sin contar nuestras horas de trabajo invertidas. El festival no cuenta con un soporte económico de parte de nadie, y como debido a la calidad del Festival que realizamos nunca dió ganancias, siempre pérdidas. Esto no fue un problema grande hasta el día de hoy porque nosotros, Anibal y Valeria, hacíamos de únicos sponsors y cubríamos las pérdidas, pero este año fue un problema más grave ya que no pudimos hacer la edicion 2020. No podemos tampoco dar nuetras clases de manera regular y tenemos los gastos que hicimos hasta el día de hoy.Por eso, realizamos esta campaña de ayuda, para recaudar este dinero y continuar adelante con la edición 2021.

In een wereld als die we tot een paar maanden geleden hadden, zou de stad Antwerpen dit weekend ZONDER STOPPEN DANSEN TANGO !!! Met 3 Argentijnse orkesten, 5 topparen van leraren en dansers !! en ook lessen, barbecue, officieel kampioenschap, 10 dj’s, live shows.
Maar nee, de COVID-19 stond het niet toe. De organisatie heeft echter € 6.000 geïnvesteerd in web- en flyerontwerp, flyer printen, secretariaatsuren, tijdschriftreclame en dit alles zonder onze geïnvesteerde werkuren mee te rekenen. Het festival heeft geen financiële steun van Niemand en vanwege de kwaliteit van het Festival hebben we nooit winst gemaakt, altijd verlies. Dit was tot op heden geen groot probleem omdat wij, Anibal en Valeria, de enige sponsors waren en de verliezen dekten, maar dit jaar was het een ernstiger probleem omdat we de editie van 2020 niet konden doen. We kunnen onze lessen ook niet op regelmatige basis geven en we hebben de kosten die we tot op heden hebben gemaakt.
Daarom hebben we deze hulpactie uitgevoerd om dit geld op te halen en door te gaan met de 2021-editie.
Samenwerking is naar believen. U kunt ons helpen met 10, 20, 50 of 100 euro of wat u maar wilt. Elke euro is nuttig om dit prachtige festival weer te kunnen doen. Mais non, le COVID-19 ne le permettait pas. Cependant, l’organisation a investi 6 000 € dans la conception de sites Web et de dépliants, l’impression de dépliants, les heures de secrétariat, la publicité dans les magazines, et tout cela sans compter nos heures de travail investies. Le festival n’a pas le soutien financier de Personne, et en raison de la qualité du Festival que nous faisons, n’a jamais donné de profit, toujours une perte. Ce n’était pas un gros problème jusqu’à aujourd’hui car nous, Anibal et Valeria, étions les seuls sponsors et avons couvert les pertes, mais cette année, c’était un problème plus grave car nous ne pouvions pas faire l’édition 2020. Nous ne pouvons pas non plus donner nos cours régulièrement et nous avons les dépenses que nous avons faites jusqu’à aujourd’hui.
C’est pourquoi nous avons mené cette campagne d’aide pour récolter cet argent et poursuivre l’édition 2021.
